Pandan has always been a nostalgic and comforting flavor for me. Growing up with parents from Indonesia and Vietnam, the happy moments in my childhood were colored with the joyous sensation of biting into the soft, pillowy pandan chiffon cakes my mom would bake or a pandan honeycomb cake weâd get as an add-on from the banh mi shop. When pondering a new scent to add to Yuzu Leafâs collection, I wanted to acknowledge this part of my identity while also giving it a fun twist. I love trying new drink flavor combinations, and when I tried a pandan matcha latte, I thought it was so delicious. With our Pandan Matcha scent, I tried to emulate the gourmand quality of a pandan dessert, rounded out with the fresh earthiness of a matcha latte. In this scent, youâll find notes of pandan, coconut, vanilla, milk, and matcha. This is our second gourmand scent in our line, so if you like dessert-type scents, this is a must-have!Â

Care Instructions
Please allow your candle to burn for around 3-4 hours for its initial burn in order to create a fuller melt pool and prevent tunneling. For coconut wax candles, it's normal to have some hangup on the sides early on but the wax on the sides will catch up as the candle burns down. This is because coconut wax is softer and burns hotter than typical waxes. Before every burn, please trim your wick (about 1/4") in order to remove the burnt portions. This prevents excessive smoke.
Materials
Our candles are handcrafted in small batches with a high-quality coconut wax blend, lead-free cotton wicks, and phthalate-free fragrances. These ingredients make for a clean and slow-burning candle. Our 7oz candles have a burn time of up to 45 hours.
